HAND-MADE WITH CHEER. For our Christmas card this year, I wanted to experiment with woodblock printing and here is the result. Couple of things I learned: I wish I had tested out different papers to see which would’ve held the ink better and I would’ve started printing probably a week earlier since the oil-based ink took about eight days to completely dry. Other than that, I’m somewhat satisfied with the final product and it accomplishes the nice hand-made feel that I wanted.
CHRISTMAS IN FLORIDA. I’m really not looking forward to wearing shorts, a t-shirt and sweating my butt off on Christmas day…
